@Jonathan C. - thanks for your feedback; I agree with the potential to offend someone with an overbearing letter, so as Rick said as well, I'll keep it pretty straight to the point. Thanks.

@Rick H. - thanks for your feedback- this was my original mindset, to take a very matter-of-fact approach without being overly wishy-washy. I'll take your advice, and tailor my marketing to that effect.
Thanks again!

Hi BP Community!
I'm currently attempting probate marketing, and want to be sure that I hit the right notes with this particular demographic.
My question is: What are the biggest concerns for someone going through the grieving/probate process? I want to address this in the letter to begin establishing rapport. I haven't been through this process, so it's hard to relate, but I'm trying to put myself in their shoes, you know?
So far, some potential problems I've identified are:
-sibling feuding over property
-feeling overwhelmed- not knowing where to start
-a large amount of items that need to be sold
I'm trying to pinpoint some needs that I can take care of, besides the obvious needs of cash and quick closing for some.
How can I stand out through my letters and really offer these families "something extra?".
Thanks,
Dylan

@Brandon Kargol - good to see you on here Brandon! I'm new to all of this, but have spent the last few months networking with some investors in the area. I would recommend starting off at some of the local FAYREIA meetings if you haven't gone yet. I've also had good luck reaching out to people on here. Let me know if you need anything.

Hi @Justin Tahilramani - thanks for posting. I'm looking to invest in Fayetteville, starting with rehabs and flips, interspersed with leveraging capital to purchase SFH's for buy/hold. If you're in the area, I'd be happy to meet up for coffee and discuss your needs.

@Ron Stasch - thanks- this is exactly the type of information I was looking for. Based on my understanding of the new JOBS act provisions, I was under the impression that solicitation is acceptable within certain guidelines, but I was not aware of the need to check with the Dept of Corporations. Thanks for this information, it's helpful.

Hi, I'm new to investing, and have recently found someone willing to partner/mentor on rehab deals. He is also looking to fund a large construction project for a 60+ unit apartment complex, and is seeking to form a syndication to help fund the construction.
I'm attempting to help him by reaching out to accredited investors such as doctors and attorneys via phone/email to gauge interest.
In reality, I have very little idea of what I'm doing, and am not sure if calling/emailing these individuals is kosher.
Any thoughts/ideas/criticisms from those of you who are experienced in this area?

@Jason Fraser - I like your ideas about the videos with expert advice and catchy titles- this might work. I was trying to veer away from "I'll buy your home with cash", etc, because I figured these people probably get bombarded with these letters.
I might revise the video...thanks.
