Post: Wayfair and fully furnishing

Hi everybody,

I enjoy going through everybody's posts while I save up and prep for my first purchase. There has been something I've been growing more curious about.

I work at a Wayfair call center and receive the occasional call from people buying furniture for their rentals or others who need door knobs and pulls for houses they are building and selling.

Over the past month or two I have been receiving significantly more phone calls from people who are furnishing condos to rent. I actually suggested bigger pockets to a few people because they were panicking about their first rental.

My question would be is it more common to rent a fully furnished condo/apartment than unfurnished? I kind of assumed only student living would come furnished.

Is fully furnished becoming more popular?

@Nathan Killebrew

I have had friends essentially break up with me because I would constantly be unavailable due to work or school *two full time jobs and full time student. If someone is a good friend they will push you forward. Surround yourself with people who are as motivated as you.

@Dustin Burke

It's a pyramid scheme and a cult.

I know a few people that tried it and 2 of the three went into debt. The third caught on right away and switched to real estate.

The "training" is no better than reading the books that are always suggested across BP

@Daniel Jewell

I had a buddy who went to work for a private investor and quit his 9-5 job. A few months later he found out he was stealing money and flying to Russia for a prostitute. You never really know who your working for until you work for them.

@Jian Lin

A lot of people suggested rich dad poor dad, I really liked the second book cash flow quadrant where he goes into significant detail.

I also am currently on tony Robin's Money Master the game. I have greatly enjoyed it so far. He interviews ultra wealthy people and goes through their portfolios.

@Benjamin Williams

I'm 24 and have two semesters left. To be fully honest I dont believe I learned that much and have learned far more through mentorship and self education. I am mainly finishing my degree for qualifications and to pursue higher positions at the company I work at. At this point I have put to much time and effort to not finish.

While in school I have always worked between 40 to 80 hours a week. Last semester I did two full time jobs and took four classes.

Whatever you decide to do put both feet through the door and go all out. If you want to do only properties work like your life depends on it.

Good luck
