I run a Meetup the first Sunday of the month up in Clearwater. It is kind of a trek for you but I think it is worth it. We get together and talk about what's working, concerns and questions. The open forum format is pretty awesome.

@Jacob Olivos I could not agree more with @Jim Wilson . KW offers an excellent training program for new agents that readily translates in to investing. In fact there is so much training available you could literally spend 40 hours a week in training. Don't do that, take it slow, find a few agents that have similar backgrounds or goals, let them give you some guidance then get out there and sell.

You will be missed at this month's Tampa Bay Real Estate Investor Meetup. There will be many more and there are other meetings that we can talk about offline. Most of them occur during 9-5 hours, but there are others that are quite good during the evening. I would be glad to meet you out there.

There are rehab opportunities in Clearwater, the good ones go fast though. Some of them make me shake my head in wonder of how a profit will be turned.
