@Kyle Pelech Welcome to BP. Always great meeting more Monmouth County Investors. As you can see the BP community is great for sharing opinions and ideas. As Mark shared start meeting your local wholesalers and investors at some of the different REI meeting around NJ. Monmouth County is challenging for the cost but there are areas in good town like Red Bank, Hazlet, Wall Township you can find great deals reasonable price.(it is all relative). For me I am concerned about Flood Zone areas. With that being said there are some investors who are buying into Keansburg, Asbury Park, Neptune. Find out what going to make sense for you.

@Shawn Mcenteer shared some creative tips on how to get deals done.  You can also try to wholesale get some capital generated.  If the deal is good enough you could try to get a private lender or even an equity partner that were networking really comes into play because you will know who your buyers are.  Best of luck on your endeavor.

Welcome to Bigger Pockets always great having more local investors in NJ. I would start by going to some local REI events to see what avenue of Real Estate s best for you. Example Owning Rentals, Fix and Flip, Buying Tax liens, Lending money. There is a lot to learn and make sure to ask a lot of questions BP community is good for sharing opinions.

Welcome @Eleinne B. always great meeting NJ investors especially in the Ocean County Area. Sounds like you got a great start. I would ask a lot of questions BP community is great for sharing experiences and opinions. I would also check out some of the local Real Estate Investment Clubs.(REI) This is where I have found will more local resources and support. Happy Investing.

@Wendy Bykowicz Welcome to BP. Always great meeting more NJ Investors. I know your commute to Central NJ has not been an easy commute lately (Train or Bus) . I would make sure you ask a lot questions. The BP community is great for sharing opinions and experiences. I also would check out some local REIA groups.
