Saloon Door West is where the action is the night after Halloween!  Come out and enjoy some beverages and friendly faces.  At this meet up we will share a current market report and have an open forum night.  Come ready to share what you are doing out there in the real estate world.  Any good strategies, roadblocks, great deals, funding issues????????  We are all ready to learn and share and keep the team motivated!  Look forward to seeing everyone, and as always - invite a friend and pass the word.

Hi Rawn. I just saw this post and am curious to know if y'all always meet at Saloon Door ir if y'all move around? I'm fairly close and would like to check out your meet ups

I'm in Pasadena, LaPorte area. I've been hoping for a group on South side. Traffic is too crazy to drive to the meetups that are too far anyway

Yes i did due diligence, obviously I missed something. I've been kicking myself for this but realistically the way they did it, I may not have found it no matter what i did. I've been in my own rei bubble for many years and wanted training from someone more active with wholesalers. I cant give much detail here due to the probable lawsuit. I have already terminated contractor/realtor but need to do damage control with the lender/property debt. I need an atty to look over the lender docs but i do recognize their name as a regular in the legit investor circles. They just have not been helpful with a resolution. I do have an atty going over everything but he has taken a couple weeks already and is still researching, meanwhile my damages grow daily.
I've received no help from their broker so I filed with trec against the realtors involved while i wait on the atty but am hoping for some ideas here i maybe havent thought of. Thank you for your response.

Gmorning all. I have been a victim of a scam. A realtor that also owns the wholesale co (wasnt disclosed), was supposed to train me to flip using wholesalers (I've only used wholesalers twice n long time ago). Long story short, the realtor said she rcvd contractor bids n chose the cheapest. Once rehab started the contractor told me he needs double the money saying the realtor told him how much to charge, that he never ran numbers himself. The hard money lender calculated using the fraudulent numbers. The house has had some demo n looks worse than when i bought it so no takers that will cover the loan. I cant finish the house or rent the house, the numbers dont work. What are your thoughts on letting the lender take it back? I hate to do it but this is about damage control. I bought under an LLC. that lender says hes worked with this realtor/wholesaler a couple yrs with no issues.
