Welcome to BP @Takahito Torimoto.
I agree with Paul to listen to the BiggerPockets Podcast, easy and fun to listen, and you learn so much more. I'm currently soaking up knowledge from the BP community while looking for my first property. If you're interested in attending the local REIA club meeting, let me know.

@Tim Johnson Washlet is always a fun product to talk about. Although, working for a bathroom company, toilet humor is all we talk about.
@Dave
@Dave Visaya Thank you, David. Glad to have found this community!

Newbie in Real Estate Investing. Been listening to the BP podcast for a while and looking forward to learn even more on the BP forum. I work full-time at TOTO, the Japanese plumbing and fixture manufacturer known for their reliable toilets and state-of-the-art Washlets.
If you have any questions on Washlets or thinking about putting in one for your high-end rehabs or projects, feel free to contact me any time. I'd be happy to help.
Don't know what a Washlet is? Here are some fun reads.

I agree with @Arnell Enriquez, dividing the reserve into three categories.
This is how I allocate my investment.
Short-term (next 1-6 months): High-yield saving - Ally Saving account - currently 1% interest
Medium (Next 6-24): Betterment, peer-to-peer lending (i.e. Lending Club)
Long-term (2-4 years): I tend to like ETFs better than stocks, because of diversification and can be traded daily like stocks. You can also look into stocks or ETFs that produces high dividend.
