I have a couple amazing agents I can recommend, Greg Pikor, Dan Axeman, Hamar Clark just to name a few.  You will also need a food insurance guy Rob Bowen from farmers does a lot of local investors flips and buy and hold insurance.   The contractors is one of my hardest things to find good ones so I won’t be sharing on that one.

So what was the outcome did you rent it, did you sell it. Are you going to break even and this was the cost of education?  

Hmm that was many deals ago.  I think it took 18 months to get title insurance so I would have ability to sell or refi it and take my cash back out. Thank you for input

I have ran a poughkeepsie meet up for 21/2 years.  We have investors that have come from li to Catskills.  I think it’s crazy that they travel so far, nice but great.

Hi Jason. I’m Eric.  I’m a long islander as well. I moved to poughkeepsie 15 yrs ago and started buying. I own a multi and a handful of singles and condos.  I run one of the meet ups. 

After meeting Stephan at a Local meetup i don’t get the impression he is trying renegotiate but more that he is new, like we all were Once and doesn’t want to make any costly mistakes.   I could be wrong but that is the impression I got. 

Call rob Bowen.  He goes to all the meetups and Reia’s.  He has most of my policies.  He is local and trustworthy.   Tell him you are a member of the meet up group.
