Yes. We just finished a year of ownership

10200 was incoming rent.  We are currently at 13900. We did one eviction in that year, we have done updates to every apartment that we turned. Lvt, paint, new outlets. We did an awning over a basement that flooded   Added parking.  It’s been a good year.  We still have a couple of the original tenants so I figure by the end of year 2 maybe 14500 .

Do you have any specific questions?

When you say residential multifamily what exactly do you mean?  I own single family, condos and multi family over 4 units.

Forget a handyman.  Get management so you can rinse and repeat. Wish I would have listened to my own advise.  I’m in poughkeepsie and wappengiers 23 units.  Self manage and self repair and some days want to quit because of it.   Matt Cave hudson valley property management is a good recommendation.  Also I run a meetup, 2nd weds at 6 pm icehouse.

Hello BP community,

I am selling some properties to spend a-little more time w family and get ready for my next big move. I was thinking of taking advantage of compound interest. I never heard or saw anything about tax advantages or disadvantages of holding note or paper on properties that you are selling.

Can anyone share real life experience, was it beneficial or a bad idea.  Please share your experience or stories with hold note on a property

I don’t but i usually do those drive arounds or Starbucks meetup  early sat or sun.  It’s usually one on one but I have had as many as 3 people.  I’m sure if you put it out there that you are coming up to the area and want to meet some local investors people would respond.
