@Levi T.

In all 50 states it is currently illegal to do a self evictions, self evictions fall directly in line with changing the LOCKS ...

^

However, In this situation, he fell under both those terms, he was late on rent already, said he wasn’t paying and then abandoned home. I repossess and changed locks and then moved his stuff to storage unit

- Legal lease from legit online source

- Section states, “ If Tenant Abandons home for 15 days or more and is delinquent in rent... owner can repossess home “

- Is repossessing a home legally allowed or does that fall under a “ self eviction? “

- Situation: Tenant went to jail for 17 days but had never spoken about his charge, he was arrested for doing something illegal that day. However, 1 week prior to his arrest , he had voiced verbally and over text that he was no longer going to be paying me rent...

@Brian Gibbons

Brian, I literally called a local company in Philadelphia PA yesterday. Discussed with them, I spoke with the head manager.

Me: Hey, Do you guys offer rent credits?

Him: Yes, about 15 percent per month.. will go to final purchase price

Me: Okay, how long have you guys been doing this?

Him: since the company started in 2012

Me: Doesn’t that violate Dodd frank?

Him: We are in compliance will all laws.

Just confused. Isn’t it the buyers Job to go get a mortgage and pay you in full? Haha.
