@Ryne Pope welcome to this site!

Have you checked out the podcasts here? I find that I learn a lot from them and they are pretty entertaining as well :)

@Michael P. I appreciate your comment about the cream always rising to the top. I know I can be an asset wherever I work and I am just waiting for the opportunity to show what I can do. Hope I get there soon!

@Ryan McElroy- Hope you get a great job soon! I would also say to try to get a job first, with aggressive efforts for a few weeks before paying for an expensive degree.

@Scott Choppin and @Warren Currier- what detailed responses. Thanks for providing value to the rest of us here on BP!

Do not bother with an MBA.  Anything you would learn there, you can learn on your own or on the job or from a mentor.

Keep us posted and best of luck!!

I like that advice, helps me too as I try to figure out a great way to get a job in the field I am interested in.

@Vaughn Smith- thanks for the compliment :)

Nice to see my efforts are noticed!

@Tamara Troutt if you're into visualizations, imagine putting on a heavy duty raincoat/ iron shield before calls, and imagine the tomatoes and eggs they are throwing at you just sliding off it as you stay protected and clean in your shield.

Just keep going!

I think when you have one deal behind you it'll get easier.

@Chad B. as a fellow 'introvert' I understand the hesitation in meeting others, so perhaps you can start by networking here on BP (before attending a meetup). I do this by reaching out to people who seem knowledgeable in the forums with a colleague request and a description of what I am looking to do.

In addition, you can search for members near you and reach out to them as well. Perhaps you can arrange a virtual meeting online, which can be less intimidating than in person.

Best of luck!

@Renzo Tunjar a 'good' location doesn't have black and white rules, like it doesn't 'must' be in the city, 'must' be on a certain kind of block, but before getting into a deal it is important to understand how the location would affect the rental prices, the vacancy rates, etc.

@Sebastian Tellez have you considered attending a meeting about real estate investing?

There are likely some near you, check our meetup.com and the events sections under network, on the ribbons above.

Challenge yourself to introduce yourself to 5-10 people and you might find the person who can help you/ encourage you to go for it!
