@Randy R Espinoza, home prices in Bakersfield are up like they are in most places, but so are rents.  I see investors putting together deals. There is a lot of information on Bakersfield if you search the Bigger Pockets forums.  You can also join the Bakersfield Real Estate Investor's Networking Group. It is an open forum networking group and it is free.

Hi @Isaac Jimenez, There are quite a few active investors in the Bakersfield area here on Bigger Pockets.  One thing you can do is search "Bakersfield" here on Bigger Pockets and you will find a lot of posts (some pretty recent).  You can also set up an email alert for Bakersfield so you hear of new threads.  I personally invest in the Kern River Valley which is about 40 minutes east of Bakersfield.  I do home inspections in Bakersfield so I work with a lot of investors.  Also, check out the local meetup "Bakersfield Real Estate Investors Networking Group".  If you want a link to the networking group message me and I will send that your way.

Until we can meet in person, we will be meeting virtually using Zoom. The meetings are usually on the third Thursday of each month.

@Brian Caudill, I have rentals and I have done a few rehab/flips in the past.  Right now I am in escrow on two homes.  One I plan on holding as a long term rental.  The second I plan on doing a light rehab and selling it retail.  I have a third that I am hoping will work out.
