Tina, the first question you have to ask yourself is what type of investing are you looking to do. The last time I heard about the investclub bootcamp, it was entirely about wholesaling. If that's not what you want to do (and if it is what they still teach) then it would clearly be a waste of time and money. I would definitely suggest you go to their meetings for a while in any case before committing that kind of money.

We have used a Fortress Security system in the past. It is a self-monitored system, which means it will call/text you when something is triggered.

Yeah, with a quick glance at Automatic, I notice that it might also allow me to use Siri with my car, which would be cool.

Yeah, I like MileIQ. It is very simple to use, which is exactly what I want in a mileage tracker. The only complaint I have about it is that it doesn't know when I'm traveling in my car vs another car. It identifies every drive. Because my business partner and I carpool a lot, I still have to remember who drove on which day. If I could tell it to only track when I connect to my car's Bluetooth, then it would be perfect.

Haven't had to deal with a recalled system. We use fairly standard equipment. Typically Toro pop-ups, Orbit timer, basic anti-siphon valves. When getting estimates, just make sure the contractor specifies what equipment will be used - brands, sizes, piping specs.

1. Terminate property insurance policy
2. Notify gardener/pool service that the house is sold
3. Update property spreadsheet/Quickbooks
4. Post before and after photos
5. Evaluate what we learned - good and bad

Here is a link I found a while ago researching something similar. It's a do-it-yourself system. It's not going to be less than $100, though:

You should also check out Fortress Security's system. There is no monthly fee, it calls you if something is triggered. And unlike Simplisafe, it doesn't looks silly.
