100% agree...I am not renewing my policies...am rolling the dice...if one burns down, oh well...Will have 51 doors instead of 52...will demo it and sell the land. So tired of insurance in Florida I don't even care anymore. Plus it's such a paperwork burden on my my wife tracking all these policies and price increases.

I would rather give my rental for free, burn it down, or let it just sit empty than deal with section 8. It's not the tenants, it's the administrators in the office...words cannot describe the level of sheer incompetence or carelessness...compare it to going to the DMV office and then multiply that by 2000%...

Get a DP1 policy with fire only. Get rid of wind, water and mold coverages, get less liability. Should get you around 700 a year maybe less.
