@Ali Chauhan.Congratulation in your decision to jump in to the R.E. arena!
I nice place where you can find all typeof forms is Legalzoom. I like this site, although it is not free, their monthly fee is worthy. Check it out and your first form is free. If you want something more customized, you can pay one time fee to a lawyer to craft a particular form for you and then you continue using it.
I hope that helps!

@Chase Medeiros. That is great, Chase! Do you have a Roth 401K to buy your shares or investments in the market?
I think a Roth is a very good strategy for you, because your tax liability now is not big, so you can see your money grow all tax free!! I'm confident that a young person like you is going to be millionaire by age 59 1/2 and your tax liability is going to be bigger then.

Great job reading those books, Chase!
I also would like to suggest "Set for Life" by Scott Trench.
I wish I would had started investing in a Roth IRA at your age and buy some ETF tracking the S & P 500 index. If you can get any income at all, from doing lawn work, helping out your parents with something, pet sitting or anything. You just need a 1099 of some source.
I hope that helps!

@Chris Seveney, @Ned Carey, @Terrence Evans, @Don Konipol. Guys to keep you in the loop regarding the unfortunate saga with this property. This week has been a rollercoaster. Let me explain:
On Monday I received an email from my foreclosure attorney telling me that the Court had ruled in or motion and we needed to do an appraisal and move for judgement :). Two days later I received a phone called that the family members of the deceased had kicked out the tenants and vandalized the property :(
To make things worst, I learned that the insurance expired in January and I wasn't notified, so the property was not insured. My foreclosure lawyer told me to filed a report with the police for vandalism and secure the property for now. I'm also going to get a lender's interest insurance. Any other suggestions?

Welcome to BP, Jorge!!
I wish you and your partner much success in your R.E. journey.
You guys are starting on the right foot. You have joined the BP community where you will find support and guidance during the journey and you guys have "unfair advantages" that for now are your assets. You with your experience with insurances and your partner with his experience in construction. That is great!!!
Animo y para adelante!!!

Welcome to BP, Jazmin!!
Indeed being in NYC can be intimidating for R.E. but realize that there are many different ways to invest in R.E. It is important to educate yourself as you are doing, define your "Why" and your strategy according to your skills, interests, resources and your own "unfair advantages" (everybody has something).
For the time being, networking in BP is an option. BP also offers webinars and a great collection of books. As the country get back to whatever normal, it will be more in person events in NYC as before and you would have the opportunity to meet people in person. At that time you will be better equip with knowledge to hit the ground running :)
I wish you much success in this new journey!
