Hello,

I am a 19 year old (20 in a month) college student living in Jamaica Queens, NY. I am extremely interested in getting into Real Estate investing. If anyone knows of any groups or opportunities I can possibly join or be apart of please let me know. I think like many people, just looking for the right way to start.

Thank You!

Hello,

I plan on starting to wholesale. I would like to know more about how to analyze trends and where to find valuable and reliable data. Any advice tips helps. Also, how do investors go about determining where the next wave real estate increases happen.

Thanks

Hello,

I have doing much research and teaching myself about real estate and investing. I came to a decision that wholesaling would be a great way to get started. I have been driving around my community looking at homes for sale and also collecting the numbers of "we buy houses" signs. Some signs even say "finders fee." I just would like to know from anyone with experience or advice how to find houses to wholesale and also what do investors look for so when I present potential deals, I can cover the right basis. Thanks

Hi @Matthew Weiser thanks for the welcome. I also see your from Queens! Before I start charging , I would love to analyze the market in NYC and LI and create deals and share them for free with investors, such as yourself, and around the area and 1. get feedback, 2. build relationships. Once I proved I am capable of finding and analyzing good deals then I would begin to charge. Also, do you happen to know of any real estate groups/ clubs that meet around this area as well or maybe network with each other?

Thanks

Hello,

I really love real estate and have been educating myself. I am currently a freshman in college in the city, but as the semester comes to an end, I really would like to begin my journey. I plan on getting my real estate license. Now, I want to begin wholesaling real estate. I am very good at collecting and analyzing data, and with very little money, I feel that this is a good way to start. If anyone is from around the NYC area with advice, recommendations, or things to think about when starting out, please let me know and would love to connect.

Thank You

Hello,

I am a freshman in college, about to turn 20 and i intend on getting my license this summer. Very interested in investing and wanted to know some books, that are great, almost mandatory for new young investors.

Thank You

Hello,

I am 19 about to turn 20 and want to know of some ways (interesting or different as well) that will best suit someone of my age/ experience. My financial situation good being that no debt and I am fortunate enough that my parents help with school tuition. I do not currently have a job however. I do plan to get my real estate license this summer. Any suggestion and tips on make/earning/borrowing money for real estate is appreciated.

Hey everyone thanks for the great advice. I will definitely explore building credit. I dont have a job but will start to look for one. I will most likely look for something part time. I hope this is ok?? (If not let me know) Also, is opening a credit card account the smart/best way to start building credit. Even though I do not have a job, I am lucky enough where my parents would most likely give me some money monthly as an allowance that I could pay of my credit cards, especially if they know that i am trying to build credit.

2nd.

I know someone mentioned joining a REIA group. I did some research on my local (which seems to be NYC) and I was wondering when it would be the best time to that?

Thanks again for all the help @Roger Vi
