Welcome Christopher!! Definitely agree with @Benjamin Qiu. Given the prices in NYC real estate market the appropriate strategy would be fix and flips. If you are more interested in buying and holding, then Id recommend you look at upstate NY, New Jersey or Pennsylvania for potential deals
