I really don't want to hand write the envelopes, but a past investor told me that it was a kiss of death to send out direct mail pieces with addresses on labels. So I'm trying to figure out how to do this as efficiently as possible on limited funds.

I'm to send out some direct mail letters, but I need to know if I can send them with handwritten labels. Or do I have to hand write them myself. I want to use clear labels and print the addresses on the labels. I was told by someone that sending direct mail letters with labels was the kiss of death. Just need another opinion. Thanks in advance.

@Daniel Miller I'm glad things worked out in your favor. I'm about to embark on tax sales, and find this thread very helpful.

There's two answers to that question Brian. 1st the company that I got the list from was sold out of my neighboring areas. And secondly, I want to find properties near the beaches.

I have an absentee list of owners that are 4 hours away from me. I plan to send them letters about their property, but I'm concerned that I am 4 hours away minimum from them. So I can't see the properties right away. Would like to wholesale or flip the properties if possible. I'm not sure how to handle the distance. I'm working a full time job, so getting there is not going to be on a daily basis. As I was writing this I thought I could get a partner from the area. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Jamane
