Christopher Allen there are 3 different groups in the Wichita area. Check meetup.com.
Jonathan Beemer while this isn’t much help for your current situation it will help when you do have the necessary time on your new job. Don’t forget to claim everything you have wrong with you on your way out. From one former infantryman to another nearly all of us have a bit of tinnitus (10% VA disability) and degenerative back disease (back arthritis). If you have at least 10% disability you don’t have to pay the VA loan funding fee which is over 2% ($4,000 for a $200k Loan). Seeing as we all have at least a bit of tinnitus from 240Bs firing right next our heads and there is no way to actually prove you don’t have it it’s highly recommended to claim it.
Shane H. Could you spend me that recommendation as well.

By the way, the new CIE we are using is available to search for anyone.  Realtors obviously have the ability to do a lot more than the standard member but you can still do a lot of research yourselves.

Jimmy Dang they are in derby and west Andover. Asking price is 235k and rent is about 1100 per door. Hit me up if you want a list of multi family properties. I do a weekly market report and an analysis of potential buy and hold investment properties that are both single and multi family. If anyone ever wants to be added to that mailing list just contact me. In the market report last Sunday I found out that the Wichita area as a whole actually depreciated in value when compared to this time last year by 0.72 %. Keep in mind this is a 35 mile radius around Wichita so there are places that are still appreciating but as a whole the market took a dip. I think this is due to the sharp increase in interest rates over the last month.

Lenders won’t accept income from the GI Bill as income for the purposes of VA loan qualification. This is because the VA loan lending guidelines doesn’t count this type of income. If you want to get started investing now stay in. If you want to build relationships and go full time with school get out. Also, make sure you claim everything that has broken on you since joining the military. I have back problems and pretty bad tinnitus that got me VA disability. If you have even 10% in disability you get the required funding fee waived.
