@Gerrit Stukkie Did you end up using that website to create a font from your own handwriting? Have you had any issues like viruses or spam? I read somewhere else that can happen

@Trevor Mauch, thank you for the detailed and thorough response. The breakdown really helped me understand online marketing a little better. I'm sending you a PM for the link you offered.

Thanks!

@Keanan Koppenhaver Thanks for the amazing, thorough response to my question. I understand that in order to generate consistent results with a website I'll have to put solid effort for months until I start ranking higher. I'm trying to determine what the best use of my marketing dollars is right now since I'm just starting out. Appreciate the help.

@G.D. Haizlip I came across this older thread as I was looking for advice with GA tax Sales. Thank you for your input and advice and encouragement to ask questions. I'm also learning as much as I can about the process. Since you offered, what is your strategy when it comes to tax sales? Do you just sit on the tax deed for one year waiting until it is time to foreclose on the right to redeem? It seems to me that if you can somehow afford to put that money on a tax deed for one year, you can either earn 20% to 30% return when/if the owner redeems the property, which it doesn't seem to makes sense for the owner because they would be buying their house all over again after owning it free and clear (most likely), or foreclosing on the right to redeem and selling the house for a profit. Is that what you've done, or the typical strategy for these types of investments?

@Andrew LeBaron I know this is old thread, but how did it go for you with your mailing campaign?

I agree that's key to generate deals from the leads you get, but my questions is specifically about how to generate leads using a website.

I've been reading about lead generating websites and SEO and PPC campaigns. Can one expect success by just creating a website through Lead Propeller for example, and paying the monthly $49? Or is there more that has to be done to get my website to generate the number of leads that will result in deals? Can someone explain how SEO relates to this question? How much more can I expect to spend on the other components of finding leads through a website? How does PPC campaign work into something like Lead Propeller?
