Thanks for your comment @Chris Hopper, valuable! For section 8...do you just contact them and allow them access to renting your property? Also - are your condos on the south side like the original poster is looking into, just curious.

I have this idea of representing employees of big corporations like Shell, Weatherford, etc, that are relocating to the Houston area, I want those sales! Essentially be A point of contact for the company and/or the employees that are moving to the area, even if I'm not the ONLY point of contact. I know I am not reinventing the wheel here, I am sure this has been done by someone somewhere but I cant find any ideas on how I should move forward. Should I make a proposal to send over? Just cold call to the companies I want to target? I could just start randomly trying to get the right people on the phone and I am willing to do that but I just looking for ideas and/suggestions to play off of. Any thoughts?

I've been thinking of the Waller area as well, seems like a smart move.

Check into Nextdoor.com for contractors...it can be specialized to the neighborhood your property is in. I use Nextdoor in my primary residence neighborhood and I love it. Think of it as FB but for your neighborhood. Ask around on Nextdoor for some contractor recommendations.

Hi Mike, thanks so much for the reponse! I've heard great things about Zoho. I think I have narrowed it down to Zoho and lessannoyingcrm.com (thats the actual name, ha), I may play around with both since they are both free. One more question...do you input EVERYTHING in there? For example youre at a grocery store, someone sees your name tag or shirt or business card, mentions they may like to buy/sell soon and provide you with their contact info. Do you enter/track that in your crm?

Super helpful info Joel, thanks for sharing. I am threading lightly and I have the whole '100% of 0 is still 0' ingrained in forefront of my brain thanks to BP haha...I will pay close attention to my broker and even closer attention to myself and make adjustments as necessary.
