Hell, I've got 2, Current (D) and Ex (C). But last year (C) was Current, and (D) was EX, and 6 years ago D. was in, and C. was out, But before I ever met D., C had been my Ex like 3-4 times over the past 30  years.

Sound confusing?

Now I'm trying to buy a big industrial building in C's hometown, and D is freaking out at me because everyone we meet has C's last name, or is some relation to C by marriage. It even turns out that the Realtor is married to C's cousin.

Things were kinda calmed down, but last night coming home from a meeting, we got in a slow moving construction zone on the turnpike, and there were about 10 dump trucks lined up to get loaded, and they all had C's last name on them in big letters. Somehow that was my fault.,,,,,,,,,

Old truck driver trick to get rid of the smell in a trailer that had been used to haul something nasty was to throw some coffee around inside the trailer. Of course that made the trailer smell like coffee. but most people perceived the coffee smell as being good.

In your communications with the credit card companies, keep bringing up that you are going to have to go bankrupt

I spotted a few deals on loopnet, but it only shows me premium listings. I'm not sure what I'm locked out of. My problem is, agents really don't seem to understand industrial/commercial needs. Door height & width are expensive to change. Height to the bottom of the roof trusses is a total deal killer.

I'm not even sure any of them even begin to understand 3 phase power and how big of a deal it is as far as usage, and how damn expensive it is to put a new 3 phase service in.

When I tell them I need to store and repair my equipment, they just don't seem to grasp the scale even if I show them pictures.

When I say my truck and forklift, I'm talking about this

And when I say I repair, move and set up big sandblasting equipment, I mean this.

Not this

Is LoopNet worth the membership price?

I wonder what this guru tells his kids he does for a living

Debbie, try here DUPAGE COUNTY BAR ASSOCIATION or call them at 630-653-7779. Ask for a referral, and tell them what language you are most comfortable speaking. They will at least get you a free consultation with a lawyer

Oops posted in wrong thread, Damned windows 8 :)

The real truth about flipping is it's hard work. No matter if you get down and get your hands dirty, or if you find good people to do the "down and dirty" (You still have find them, manage them, and retain them) It's still hard work.

As far as business goes, the NUMBER 1 RULE is, never never never let someone lead you around. If you're not getting what you want out of a deal, take your ball and go home.

The "intellectual me" reads Veblen.

The "Down and Dirty" me listens to Frank

Debbie, fight this scumbag with all you've got. Get really mad and go for the groin and the eyes. Even if you don't win, you'll still have your self respect. And your self respect is worth one hell of a lot more than $41,000
