Power and control
(Or did you want a Miss America contestant answer?)
Went to look at it based on the value of the RE and other assets. I thought it was just an equipped auto repair shop with a Pa Inspection station.
Turns out it's also a buy here, pay here dealer. Lousy inventory of cars, but licensed dealership.
Really just the auto service and inspection station are a pretty good deal. The buy here pay here and dealer license look like a bonus.
Auto service I know, running a BHPH lot I know nothing about. Anyone ever done this?

I'd love to know what kind of drugs these people are on who not only take demo debris for free, but they even come pick it up.

A big problem with dumpsters is securing them. Everybody in the neighborhood sees them as a free place to dump trash.

It's ok to work at a loss or break even, if you make it up in volume.

Lady down by the Vincentown Diner had one she wanted 1800 for, it had a good steel floor and ramps for loading a bobcat. I'll have to look and see if I have her number

I remember those days. I was very young and remember going somewhere near Roxborough with my dad. It was a ~50 foot drop with only a 12" curb stopping you from falling in, if I remember correctly. Wild stuff. Then at some point they stopped that and then let you take it to the same place but you had to place it in the trash truck. I think they still allow that? Most of the time I'm working outside of Philly though.
Yeah there was another one like that in Port Richmond/Bridesburg. Exact same setup, big deep pit, small curb.
Not sure where you're working near ABE but that guy Rinaldi up at Hazlton Creek. is talking lots of stuff in his fill. I don't think he's licensed for "trash"though. But he is taking some forms of demo debris. He is the one taking all the mud from Fort Mifflin.

One thing I should mention about hiring unlicensed trash haulers. (Guys in pickups working for beer money)
When they get caught "short dumping" the cops nail the "generator" of the waste (YOU) too.
