Hookers and addicts are showing up north along the i-95 cooridor. Seems to be increasing in places like Mayfair, and Talcony. Local talk blames it on the cops pushing them farther from the areas like Fishtown and Northern Liberties.

Work took me through Kensington a couple of times a week, back in the 80's and 90's. People go to Kensington to "party". And by party, I mean nodded out on opiates, or smoking crack and turning tricks.

If you want to invest somewhere near there. Think Bridesburg or Port Richmond. Really, 250k will get you a half decent place in the burbs. Look in Croydon, Trevose, or West Bristol for SFH. There are some deals on townhouses. I know of a few people who are pretty stretched out and in their declining years in Bensalem's Hidden Valley section.

They're tenants. Most are on the balls of their ***. That is why they rent instead of owning. Make an official due date, and a real due date in your head that is two weeks later.

Are they pretty consistent at being only a week or two late?

Be sure to visit Needle Park while you're there

And stop for coffee and doughnuts with the locals at "The Last Stop" on Kensington Ave.

I've got to tell you, as a recent executor, I get so much mail, that anything from anyone I don't know gets chucked into the "circular file".

To me, it seems like all the offers come from people who think I'm hot for a new Escalade, or I wanna get high.

Just curious, has anyone changed the meter recently? They had guys changing the meters around here that went to a two week class, and they had no clue.

Pretty easy to lose a leg in an old meter socket that has been disturbed.

Pretty sure Forbes has become the National Enquirer

It multiplies their page views and ad views.  Very hard for them resist when that's their main revenue source.   Like 14 minutes of commercials in a 30 minute TV show.

Kinda hard to take it as serious financial information, when all the ads are links to articles about plastic surgery, and what Taylor and Brittany are up to.

Pretty much, almost always partnerships suck.

Yeah they seem like a good idea at the time, but ask yourself, how many of you are still with your babydaddy or babymomma? That seemed like a good idea at the time didn't it?

They can work, but it has to be with people with proven track-records who can "deliver" on schedule. And there has to be very clear boundaries and responsibilities.
