 Give it a few years when things seem to running more smoothly. Time still has yet to tell if I simply picked up a big shovel to dig myself a grave faster... Never the less its about setting up our lives the way we want them to be set up. Its no race and no one is necessarily winning over others, that is as long as we are chasing our dreams. If someone is not chasing their dreams even if they have all the money and freedom in the world then I would argue they are loosing. Im trying to set myself up with a life where I can own my own boat and spend my summers on the great lakes sailing and getting others on the water for the different races. Hopefully in 3 years I can begin to life that that life part of the time at least! 

@Juan Ayala Congrats on your deal especially while being so far away. Takes a lot of guts and trust in your system. I will definitely be challenged by my need to want to be involved  in the day to day activities especially leasing but I will need to learn as I grow. 

@Kedian Jimenez Thanks for the kind words. Being young does seem to have its challenges, but I feel they are self imposed more then anything because we feel we are limited in our knowledge and ability. But with that being said we also look at the world with a bit of naivety that seems to be challenged as the years continue. Good luck and keep working towards your dreams my friend!

@Amanda Cook Good luck and keep the eyes on the prize. I never thought the deal would go my way until the purchase agreement was in my hand. Even then I thought something would likely fall through prior to closing. But my skepticism proved wrong and the positivity prevailed. 

@Claudia Hayek The bank knows that I dont need to pull any money from my business so the cash made will stay in the account. Its understood that I will be providing financial statements quarterly on my progress over the next year. Will be easy through my quickbooks and a great way to keep building that relationship with the bank. 

@Ben Gammon @Joseph M. For the 4 unit I live in it so I am breaking even. But if I were out of it I would be at about $600 a month. For the 16 unit I expect to be at $1000 a month in my most conservative estimates and $2000 a month in the better scenarios for the next 3 years. After that I get a $500 a month raise and at 5 years I get another $500 a month raise.

@Victoria Kemezy I am happy to help however I can. It been an eye opening experience over the past year. I still have a long way to go to achieve my goals in real estate so I can start living the life that I am trying to achieve but I am making progress faster then I ever imagined. Have you read The Compound Effect? I have definitely seen the ideas from that book playing for me in my life. I am excited to keep working and see that process expand!
