Roger that, Eddie. Just a bit of sarcasm  Though it doesn't always come through just right on a forum as it might in person.

Man, can't the leader of the free world make a little slip of the tounge once every five minutes? It's not like the whole country was hanging on his every word after 9/11.... :)

Thanks for the ideas Jeff! I was misinformed though. Turns out it's just one building with 4 units :) I'm still waiting to hear back from the guy. The property is about 2 hours away from me, so I'm not sure how excited I am about it, but I have a contact out that way that refered it to me, so I promised her I would at least try to get it under contract so I could get her a bird dog fee. So we shall see... :)

That's great Jeff! I've done the same thing with minimal results. Would you mind sharing the ad with us?

Wow Tim, add science wizard to your resume :) I figured as much, judging by your previous posts. I just wanted to put it out there. You know, throw it against the wall and see if it sticks :)

The steel didn't have to melt for the building to collapse. It only had to weaken beyond a certain point, which it did. Plus, it wasn't a campfire-type fire. It was a jet fuel burning-type fire. That burns at a way higher temperature and is enough to weaken the integrity of the steel to that point.

Yep. And like I said, it doesn't make any sense for them to do so. When we are prosperous, so are they. And when we are prosperous, we tend not to ask questions. Since 9/11, lots of questions have been asked. It just makes it harder for them to get away with anything.

Cool thanks Nick! I kind of brought the idea to them. They hadn't mentioned anything about financing when we spoke, I was just want to keep them good and solvent so they can buy lots of deals :)

I think you're right about that Eddie. Some people absolutely do need that help, and government should provide it. But when you consider how many of those people are here illegally, thus being in the default position of not being able to afford it while contributing nothing (20ish million) you can about cut that in half. Also, some of those folks that don't have health insurance dont' have it because they don't want it. And it's their right not to want it. So it's really about 1/3 to 1/4 of the actual number of people the current administration actually says needs it. People that are poor due to circumstances beyond their control, I would love to give those people reasonable healthcare. They already have it for all intents and purposes, throguh county hospitals and the like. It may not be to their liking, but it serves the purpose. This whole thing to me, is an overblown excuse for the government to stick their grubby little mitts just a little further into my pocket. Right where they don't belong! My taxes already pay for county hospitals, and emergency rooms being abused by illegals for stupid things like an earache. I'm sure you see way more of that in Cali. And Cali, as you know is broke-*** broke. Hmmm...
I'm also about personal responsibility in healthcare. Not just in paying for it, but also in maintaining your health. I eat well, and maintain a very rigorous exercise program. I'm not an athlete or anything. But I could be. Because I believe in being strong and able. If I didn't do that, it would be no one's fault but my own. If people aren't going to take responsibility for their own health, quite frankly, they don't deserve good health. And as far as poor people not having access to good food, fruits, veggies and grains are among the cheapest foods out there. If they choose to eat mallo-mars instead, screw 'em.

Thanks guys! Nick, my buyers are real. They're cash buyers. They're working strictly with their own cash though, and are just two guys that started doing this awhile back. I don't think that they were aware of their options, financing-wise. As far as the sub-2 I'll throw it at 'em and see what they say. Could be a way to go.

Rich, they do the work themselves (they were contractors in a past life) and so usually take 2-3 months to get it done. They do seem to turn them pretty quickly though.
