@Andrew Davis Thanks for the welcome and the tips, I am a huge fan of the podcasts and BP in general. I have always liked the idea of the Orlando area but have not made my way up there real estate wise. How is the market up there?
@Lucas Machado Thank you for the welcome! What areas do you normally concentrate in? I am currently looking for a dependable wholesaler. I plan on going to the next BREIA meeting on the 6th, and I will definitely look into the Real Estate Business Network as I wasn't aware of that one.

Welcome to BP, there is a ton of good info here. I am in the Fort Lauderdale area, just south of West Palm Beach. I am fairly new to the real estate arena too, feel free to reach out.

Welcome, aside from educating yourself as much as you can, look for a REIA near you.

Hi Sager,
I second Craigslist I see them on their fairly often. You can also find a real estate agent that can filter the MLS listings for you, and they'll email you the properties. It will save you from going thru the listings that are irrelevant to your search.

Reassure her. I know it sounds easy but it is not. You need to do it consistently, it will not happen overnight. I am just assuming as I do not know you, but you seem to be passionate about real estate. Show her that emotion, educate her about everything from the benefits to the downfalls. Share the success stories, those are really motivating.

Hi @James Nolan, thank you and likewise! Having a real estate attorney in the family has to be hugely beneficial.

hi
@Sam Kim, I have not stepped into the out of state arena as of yet. However i'll share my experiences with MFR. The first duplex I bought I found on Craigslist and I incidentally found the other while driving thru the same neighborhood I found the first duplex in. Luck had a lot to do with it, I suppose. I have noticed that MFR prices are going up around here as well. Have you tried looking at wholesalers?
On the same note, I have found 2 more MFR that have peaked my interests in the same neighborhood I have these two particular duplexes, I found both on Craigslist.
