Hi All,
My clients are looking to buy lots and build homes on them. They are new investors and not looking to build on a commercial scale. Depending on the lot size, they might opt for one or two homes.
Their primary areas of interest is Manteca, Tracy, Brentwood, Modesto, Stockton, all in California. Appreciate some references for builders.
Thanks ,
Johnson

Hi BP family,
I am a relatively new real estate investor. I am about to get into a multi-family syndication as a passive(GP) investor. The minimum investment is $50K.
1. Is there anything specific I need to query/look for before I take the leap?
2. Should I invest under my LLC or as individual investor?
3. Any red flags I need to look for?
Thanks in advance,
Johnson

I started my journey into learning about Real Estate investing in the month of April 2018. I Binge-watched(rather binge-listened) to most, if not all of the BP podcasts, starting with the first one on Jan 16, 2013 with Marty Boardman.
After passively being involved in listening to Podcasts and attending a few meetups, I decided it was time to take some action.
I bought the 90 days of intention journal in December 2019. Even though I did not update it daily, it pushed me to achieve my first goal of owning a real estate investment home.
Finally, I bought my first investment home in Birmingham, AL in March 2020.
Also, got my CA real estate agent license in Feb 2020, which was my second goal.
Currently working full time as a software engineer, as well as joined Keller Williams Benchmark Properties, Fremont, CA as a real estate agent.
I would love to connect with other ike minded investors to scale up.
Cheers,
Johnson

Hi All,
I have been wanting to post this for a while now. I started my journey into learning about Real Estate investing in the month of April 2018. I Binge-watched(rather binge-listened) to most, if not all of the BP podcasts, starting with the first one on Jan 16, 2013 with Marty Boardman. I have compiled a list of books - Real Estate related as well as Business/Self-Improvement, recommended by various guests on the BP podcasts. Wanted to share with the community, in case anyone is interested in reading through the books. The list of books have been sorted in alphabetical order and hence might not be in order of importance
Link to Book recommendations. This is a link to google sheets. Could not find a way to upload the sheet directly in BP forums.
Wishing you all a wonderful 2020.

Thanks Brian. Yes, I was inquiring for flipping and wholesaling purposes.
