Post: Looking for advice for resources on Private Money Lenders

Hey Steven, best case scenario would be finding a private lender within your circles you could offer an above average return of say 8-10% for the short term use of their cash, or even better still borrowing from your own 401K or equivalent if you have one.

If none of those works. Here's a start to explore the plethora of funding options. All the best!

Danny, your state is still on lockdown, so everything else and your marketing has to be dialed in almost to perfection. Unfortunately, not enough information shared here to be able to help you more.

Commercial lenders are also an option Felicia, have you tried that route?

The short answer is yes. The long answer is that it will depend greatly on what type of loan, size, where and how you want to start real estate investing game, from whom you acquire the loan, or if you want to be an active (own) or passive (lend) investor. Liquidating some of your stock portfolio may also be necessary, depending on the route you take. BE GREAT!

Are you n the information gathering phase of your real estate career?  Makes me wonder what is it you really want to know or help with.

Thanks for the response Charles. I am always gathering information. That said, I have been looking at different options for investor websites for lead gen etc and these two platforms seem to get a lot of attention and have varying strengths. I simply wanted to get some more data points as to what others have found more useful in the long run.

Also, already perused through related forum posts and most are 3+ yrs older.

TIA for your input. What investor website platform did you use?

A) Done Deal Websites

B) Investor Carrot

C) Other

What's been your experience with the platform you chose?

If you buy it, provided its vacant, you get to make the rules and adjust/modify the utilities to your liking. So no biggie here really, unless I am missing something.

This is about as varied as walking down the cereal isle in your grocery store, they all have different terms. Reverse it, know what the acquisition numbers look like for your deal, and then find the HML that can lend to that. BE GREAT!
