Hi Lance-
In addition to the BP meetup that Al Williamson is putting on, there are also some great REIAs in the area, including one meeting tomorrow night (8/20). Let me know if you want more info. The REIAs are great places to make connections and learn, also.

Hi-
I am planning on stopping by the meetup on my way from work in Woodland on Tuesday pm--looking forward to it! I missed Al Wliiamson's last meetup because I was out of town.
I am a buy and hold investor in Sacramento and Yolo Counties, have done about a dozen flips with a partner in Solano and Napa Counties. I am looking for creative ways to find and fund more properties to hold, either in the Sacramento area or with my brother in Oakland. He has one 4-plex there and definitely wants more.
I am also seriously looking into mobile home parks, something I've wanted to get into for years. Now is the time for me. Any mobile home park investors coming Tuesday?
See everyone soon!

Hi Lee-
This is a great place for information. Spend lots of time reading and listening to podcasts.
Also there are some great REIAs in town--one tomorrow night. Let me know if you want more info.
Best of luck, and hope to meet you in the trenches (or at the BP Meetup Al Williamson has arranged for next Saturday--check that out!)

I am anxious to meet investors from Sacramento at this meeting. Thanks, Al, for setting this up. Will there by an agenda or just informal meeting to get to know each other?
I want to let local investors know that Bruce Norris will be speaking at NorCal REIA next Wednesday, 3/12. You can find them on line or contact me for more info. I always love to hear what Bruce has to say--big on market timing in California, plus more. A great REIA, also.

I think there could be quite a few people if this ever get this set!
I have been to a meeting at a Round Table Pizza in N. Natomas.
Holds 30-40. Just a thought. I can check into it and post info. \
Any date ideas? 3/19 is one of the big REIA meetings; maybe 3/26? If that sounds reasonable, I can check with a couple restaurants that have meeting rooms.

Danny-
What neighborhood is it in? Could be fine-just depends on your comfort level. As you live out of town, would you be using a property manager? I have rentals in some pretty marginal areas in Sacramento and they are doing great for me.
Good luck.

Hi James-
You have hit the jackpot finding Bigger Pockets! So much information here and many great people to give you advice.
Contact me if you want to talk. I have a number of rentals and am doing marketing myself for more. I also attend some local REIAs which would be a good resource for you.
Good luck!

Jeff--
The head of one of the Sacramento REIAs went to the same seminar and blasted out afterwards how completely disgusted he was by it! A visit to Capital City Wealth Builders or to NorCal REIA on a Wednesday evening provide so much better information, and immeasurably less expensive! Very smart not to fall for it; sad to see so many people who do. Who knows; maybe it will work for some of them (doubtful but possible).

C is great, but I am now looking for A's, especially a mobile home park-type multi-family. The cash flow from the right MHP is my longer term goal. It's a step I am a little leary of but am doing more research on a regular basis and will step in when I find the right one. Especially a seller-financed park (if all the other criteria are met, of course).
