It's true, an IRA does require a custodian, as @John Underwood pointed out. Sylvana, since you have an IRA, you also have a custodian, but it is likely the custodian has little to nothing to do with the trust that was formed for your IRA. The IRA LLC is the tried and true checkbook control structure when it comes to IRAs. Some providers will push the IRA Trust as a better alternative and while it does not have the filing fees of the LLC, you are experiencing one or more of the downsides of the structure, in my opinion. That said, the 1041 should not be too difficult and I would expect the FL CPA you mentioned should be capable of preparing it. If not, I would recommend finding another CPA who can handle that for you. If the firm that set this structure up for you cannot at least provide contact information, let me know and I will provide some options.

@Edwin Epperson, while a Solo 401k does NOT have a custodial requirement, many Solo 401k plans have a custodian anyway. Non-custodial Solo 401k plans generally name the plan participant/business owner as the trustee, thus giving checkbook control without the need for an LLC.
