If you want to qualify with your income, I can take a look. We can use 75% of your rental income towards your DTI. The banks and credit unions likely did that already though. Once you max out DTI, then DSCR loans become an investors best friend. Cheers, Kate

Hi Pynne, House hacking is such a great way to get in the game and cover one of your biggest expenses. That's what I did and living in the property taught us so much. I read all the free pdfs on Biggerpockets, listened to like 300+ of the real estate podcast episodes, read the books they recommended on there and once I started networking, I realized that I wasn't going to learn anything more by reading or listening. That I just needed to do it at that point, so I started making offers on 2 families and was under contract way sooner than I thought I would be. It was the best decision I've ever made. Now I'm in real estate full time with The One Brokerage. It would be great to connect and if you need anything, let me know!

It definitely depends on the market but usually 2-family or duplexes are a great place to start.

Hi Jordan, I'd be happy to connect and be a lending resource for you! Honestly there are deals on the MLS and finding an agent that is an investor too can be a great place to start. If there's a REIA near you, go to some meetings. The main people you need to find for your team will be trades.
