@Zoran The only streets I could see one describing as "C" in Cleveland Heights are the streets between Taylor & Noble. And those are actually good rental streets. I agree a Case Western student wouldn't want to live there but probably not for safety its just because its further from campus and more suburban and family oriented as opposed to Coventry.

My advice to you @Andrea Jones is to work with a realtor and property manager that lives on the Eastside and has extensive experience there. Someone that won't make you miss out on a good cash flowing deal just because they are being too cautious due to their lack of personal knowledge of the areas.

I can't count how many times I have read a forum on BP but am just now signing up and looking to network with investors in Cleveland, OH, Atlanta Metro, St. Louis, and Kansas City. I have bought and sold over 100 properties in Cleveland, OH mostly turnkey rentals to out-of-state and international investors. A few where wholesale deals and we're holding a few dozen as cash flow rentals.

In 2014 we sold a fix-n-flip in ATL(Marietta, GA). We also expanded to STL and Kansas City.

My partner is @TimilJones and I have a small support staff.

Look forward to networking with other investors, realtors, lenders, etc.

Hey Thomas. I am new to this site but your post was one of the first I saw. I have bought and sold over 100 properties on the eastside of Cleveland. The first thing you want to do is get a PP company to determine the occupancy. If it is vacant get the property secured. Eviction in Cuyahoga County can take 12 to 24 months.. just depends on the lawyer that you get.
