I never did. I just bought real estate anyways. She has nothing to do with the business.

I don’t believe but I would market as being haunted. People will pay for the experience. I would also be concerned about the water bill and potential damage from the water turning on by itself!

@michael....do you manage the Smokey mountain rentals yourself or do you use a property manager. I love Gatlinburg/pigeon forge. Have thought about purchasing a cabin there myself but didn’t know how profitable it would be using a property manager. I live in Louisville. Next time I vacation there I will look you up.

Has anyone ever had the air at a sfr go out mid summer or the heat mid winter. I’m not talking about a repair. I’m talking if it’s going to take a couple days to replace. What do you do? Bring in window units or portables? Just curious worst case scenario.

Just wondering. You said they share an empty lot for parking. Does the neighbors utilize more of the empty lot when your house is vacant? Could they have some type of motive for keeping your house vacant?
