@Jordan Rodriguez welcome to the community! You're in the right place to start-- I recommend beefing up your profile, networking here, and sharing this great information about yourself there as well. That way, you'll pop up when people search Miami for other like-minded individuals.

You'd be surprised how many great people there are willing to talk and help you out. Before you know it, you'll have a whole team just from this great community.

@Ryan Jones BiggerPockets is an amazing place to read about various trends and locations conducive to your goals. Check out the report that Dave Meyer did for starters.

I recommend that you get more specific about your strategy as well. Multi family rentals in the midwest look a lot different than something in the Bay Area. Think about what your goals are and work backwards.

@Tom Wang I recommend starting with the 3rd part and working backwards. I've heard really good things about the research triangle in North Carolina in regards to #3. If the area interests you, I recommend talking to locals who have boots on the ground experience and see the trends unfolding in live time.

@Melissa Thompson I'd recommend finding a bookkeeper overseas using something like Fiverr or onlinejobs.ph-- this will save you a ton of money and time if you find the right person.

The bookkeeper I've used had worked for other American companies and knew quickbooks inside and out. Try to find someone with experience using your bookkeeping software, fluent English, and past experience working with Americans.

@Ian Martin Boston is a great place for mid term rentals. In addition to posting on AirBnB and VRBO, I'd recommend reaching out directly to HR at hospitals and major employers in the area (LinkedIn or if you can find their email or phone number). They'll know who to connect you with and you might be able to build a partnership with them.

I also found this
, which might be helpful. Good luck!

Killing in! How'd you find the deal and finance it? There are so many different skill sets you're learning by doing this. Would love to hear what you're learning along the way :)

Think about what you're naturally good at and start there. If you like driving, uber. If you like social media, see if you can manage someone's profile for them. There are also sites like Fiverr and Upwork where you can showcase other skills remotely and Task Rabbit for things that might require in person tasks.

Hi Katy, I'd recommend networking with real estate investors (on BP), seeing if you can help become a transaction coordinator at a local brokerage by calling/emailing them, or simply connecting people on LinkedIn who fit the profile of people you're looking to service. Good luck!
