Lot of work...and yes.. you like many others need to do something for retirement. BTW I may have to sub out any reno work because now I am feeling arthritis. That house is cheap!! by west coast means.

You can make sure that the bank account that you are wiring is correct...even if the title company provided it, they can make a mistake and be off a digit ..and you could see your deposit vanish into thin air. Set up a pre determined amount of money ..say $2.34 and perhaps one other deposit in the same dollar range say for example 1.89. Call the title company and ask them what deposit amounts did they receive from you. If the dollar amounts you sent to there bank account match, then it is the correct bank account.

I have watched Elon Musk Documentary. Its amazing how mellow the guy is for taking on some very big risk. He said his car company was one week from going into bankruptcy during the 09 crash..the company was that close to running out of money. He said to the investors he had so much faith in his company..he was willing to put ever bit of her personal income into the company to make it survive. They were convinced and provided him the funding to make the company produce its first cars.

The Fraudulent accounts are over seas in Africa or Europe. Once the money had been wired its long gone.

adam..and make the pc with the passwords secure..keep it off line and a standalone pc.

I am a IT integrator installer technican and also have some It secrurity training. Yes, this fradulent scam has been going around for some time. The account is hacked, bank account info changed then the money is sent to a account in ingeria or some other country. As always call the company. DO NOT call the phone number in the email to confirm. I can change the Caller ID any time on my wholesale account at any time.

okay this does make sense. Its a hot buyers market here. It is so severe...at least in Seattle 29 miles north of Tacoma, a .79 month inventory of homes are for sale.

Tacoma property values climbed 10% on average last year. The year before it was 6% and the year before that 4% appreciation. I am also looking for a POF investor to work with and make educated offers so the investor can fund it with me. I was told by another investor/home rehabber that it's so hot at the county foreclosure auctions that the investors are paying near retail price.

I know buyer buy based on emotion and investors based on numbers. I Asked a slew of questions that an uninformed investor or buyer "assuming" what the property was really worth. I got no reply.

So, what kind of agent is the right agent to ask a long list of detailed questions about the property?

I submitted this question... and wonder if it was the correct wording without "putting off" the agent.

It makes it doubly hard to analyse a property in another state or city, to far for a drive.

So what do you do? Do you have a checklist of questions to ask? I suspect the agent would only know half of what you would ask about the property as it is only there job to sell the house and not be the inspector.

Thanks

I hate to say it...but I agree with them. The lack or rent control is causing a huge migration of the lower and middle-income residents of California to flea and they are coming up to Washington state to plug up our highways. California has some of the HIGHEST rent in the country. If you bought high...its your own fault. The idea is to buy a house or apt that where the rents are 1/3 of the net income or average for that part of the state and that means the plain states or upper mid west. IF I invest it would be in a cool market where the profit margion is larger and where I can still make a profit without putting to much strain on my renters.

I have not changed my address in my profile "went into it the other day did not see how to change it" I live in Tacoma now.  This is where I grew up in the 70s to 2000 then lived in Canada and now I am back :)
