Alright, I understand the intent here is probably to prevent people from potentially being scammed by unscrupulous dealers but this is a little ridiculous for pro members.

Since you've taken away our ability to message users directly without being connected to them as colleagues, if someone asks for a referral the only way to send it to them on the site, without posting it out in the open, is via a colleague request. Well, what good is that if you're going to censor words in those requests? The word that got the **** treatment in the message above is loan.

The guy asked about owner-financing and I referred him to a local company that services owner finance notes. Well, that company happens to have "loan" in their company name and their web address. Apparently BP thinks that's a dirty word. I would have never known about this had the guy not replied, which brought the message history to my attention.

Seems like overkill, guys...

The saying down here is that every house has either had foundation repair or needs it.

I agree with the sentiment that you should have an independent engineer provide a report on the property and have several foundation companies bid the job based on the engineer's report.

That said, $466 / pier is retail pricing; high retail pricing at that.

I will send you the contact information for three companies that will repair foundations for investors at closer to $150 / pier via PM.
