@Dan A. What is your goal? A place to hang on the weekends that almost pays for itself? Or a way out of a day job you hate?

@Shannon Ilas Sad part is there’s a ton of knowledge on this thread and it seems the OP has already disappeared.

@Lakeisha Johnson Yes sounds like a license to me.

How will you compete with Evolve turnkey and vacasa? How many 5 star reviews do you have? How many 3 stars? Why would I let you manage my property? You get the point.

For sure ditch the grocery idea. That’s what instacart is for.

@Roy Hu One of my markets requires this. I talked to the city on the phone several times. They did not care who this person was. At all. They basically said just give us a name and a phone number. This number has never been called and I’d like to think it’ll stay that way.

So. I think you could give them your housekeepers number and call it a day!

@Shannon Ilas. We are at 30 doors and both have day jobs. Averys just happens to be selling real estate. We’re good at making money with properties so she teaches others to do the same.

We both love our day jobs and we (she) are fairly young as she said. So. We continue to work. We don’t need to.

I really wouldn't say STR is more work. LTR can tend to be a ton of work all at once then nothing for a while. STR is one month of setting things up then constant small amounts of work.

I hate to tell you but you won’t find anyone more qualified to answer your questions than her and I. And we are very happy to answer them! Bring them on :)
