You're right, it is the law. And it is so stupid to not advertise every way and time possible, right? It's so easy to have some magnetic signs hanging around to throw on your other vehicle if you want to go do a bid and not take your big ole truck.

I have no answer as to why they don't take advantage of this.....it's just dumb (maybe there's your answer :-)

I have the company name on 3 out of 4 work trucks . But not the one I drive .  Why ?  Because I park it at home and we cant have a business vehicle parked at home . And when I go camping pulling the trailer I would still be a commercial vehicle . I wont do the magnetic signs , because I have a newer Ford F 250 and its an aluminum body and magnets dont work .

An electric dryer will run up the bill of that unit quickly , where a washing machine wont nearly as much .

Dont ask us , ask your parents .

Unless you caused AT&T to go on strike , tell them no .

If its a volunteer fire company you may be able to donate the house to them for the purpose of training and get a tax deduction . Now just realize it will STILL need to be demoed , they dont burn it to the ground , and demo guys hate dealing with burnt materials .

In my area you have to strip the roof shingles at a minimum .

Thats a rather dangerous job . The chimney is leaning a bit . @Sean Regan If you dont have much construction experience , I would leave it to the licensed , and Insured contractor . Ask yourself what could go wrong and who could get hurt ?

Are you willing to insure the OP if she buys the house

Without seeing the divorce decree , no , BUT if there is nothing in the divorce papers and he is solely on the deed , and the ex wife on the loan by herself , He is the sole owner of the house . She is responsible to pay for it .  Its entirely possible that if he sells the house , and keeps the proceeds , she could be hit with a 1099 and since her debt was forgiven , and be liable for income taxes on that amount
