@Ashley Watkins   In most places, a nice call to the city building inspector's office could get you all the information.

@Douglas Ellis   I know people that put combination locks on the deadbolt.  They simply change the combo on a regular basis.  It is a fairly cheap system.

Some require a photo of a driver license to get inside.  It normally takes about 2-3 minutes for the phone call, the text with the DL, and to give the person the combo.

@Dan Williamson    The problem often starts when the home owner asks things like "how much is my house worth"?  As an agent there is a short list of acceptable answers.  None of them work out well for wholesalers.

Also if the home owner reasonably thinks you are representing them, then you are going to be required not hide higher paying buyers from them.

@Ryan E.   I do not think it is appropriate to put someone on the internet for mooning someone as a teenager if they would not be on a similar registry if they had blown the person's head off with a shotgun.

In general, I am not a fan of sex offender registries.  I find it ridiculous to have one when we do not have murderer registries.

@Nic Hostetler  I doubt the plan would be to run much of it in the attic.  Most of it would come from the floor.  I think the center of the room lights would be the only thing in the attic.

What kind of wall construction do you have?  How tall are the ceiling?

@Joe Splitrock   I was intentionally over generalizing.  But I am not sure you were joking when you jumped to the conclusion that "non-citizen" meant illegal immigrant.

@Vince Mayer   It is a crime to use E-Verify for anything other than employment.

@Ola Dantis    As has been said over and over.  It seems non citizens pay better than citizens.

I think, I should tell what I think the worst case might be.

What happens if you give the person you are dealing with the money and before the title company records anything the real owner files a deed?

Before you act like I am crazy... remember you said the owner manages the property.  Yes I called the person that "bought" the property the "owner".  They will know when you are closing.
