I won't put everything on hold. When you see it, you can determine if there is anything that needs to be handed over to the police. I won't give it to her.

Is there anything your existing tenant can do to get potential tenants out? Do you show the property yourself or send people there so that your current tenant can show them? If I'm the only tenant in a large property, my advantage is to make it unattractive, so I give myself the whole place.

Maybe post on Craiglist as well, I believe that is a good place for landlords to find potential tenants.

Check with another landlord in your city to see if he has any objections to the agency or neighbor and how he handles them. I believe this will help you solve these problems.

Why didn’t you sign a lease with tenant? Always remember, lease is a tool which restrict both sides and protect both sides. I think under such circumstances, you’d better do to a lawyer for professional advice. Although it’s a tough case, wish you good luck.

Hey guys,

I have bought a new property out of state but have no time to manage it. I see you've talked about a lot of platforms that could be used for rental property, and I was wondering if I can just use them to manage or find a property management company to help me? Any help is appreciated!

@Shari Nott mcKinley  This is really tricky. If I were you, I might sell this property, at least it would reduce my current losses. The real concern is the fire. I think the main focus now should be on the rental platform, not the insurance company.

@Harry Williams Not have as many properties as you but I use Tellus for my property management. They help me post listing, offer screening reports, rent collection, financial tracking. Life is easier when I use it and saving me a bunch of time to handle my property issues.
