@J Scott , I think I understand what you're saying. Basically, the gist of it is, once it's listed, the agent will always be a part of the transaction in some way. I guess that makes sense.
@Steve H. That's a good point as well. Maybe I shouldn't worry about it too much. Being sued is always a fear of mine due to my lack of legal expertise. Hopefully, I am just worrying too much for nothing...
Thanks guys!

@J Scott , thanks for clarifying things here. That's what I thought, the case should be, but doesn't the agent have a Maryland Realtor Board Listing contract signed by all sellers that have houses to list? And if I go to the seller and convince them to break off their contract with the agent, aren't I technically interfering with their contract which makes me liable for a Tortious Interference lawsuit?
If this isn't the case, why not? And in what cases would that lawsuit be applicable?

Hey guys,
If I see a property on the market for a REALLY long time, is there a snowballs chance that I would be able to call the listing agent and just say "Hey buddy, any chance you would let me wholesale that property since you aren't doing anything with it or making a commission on it now anyway? and he/she says "Sure! Be my guest!"?
Or would a more likely response be "Get out of my face, you jerk! I am going to treat this 10,000 day old (DOM) listing like it's my first born child! You're lucky I don't sue you for tortious interference!"?
Sorry if this is a dumb question. Just something that popped into my head one day...

Welcome to BP @Ede J. ! I hope is going well for you this year and this holiday season! The first bit of advice I give everyone is to just listen to as many of the BiggerPockets podcasts you can! There is LOTS of awesome, actionable content on those. Also, set up "keyword alerts" by clicking on the link in the top right corner under the navigation bar with words of things that you are interested in knowing more about.
Furthermore, I was just informed about a meetup group in our area. Go to
https://www.biggerpockets.com/forums/86/topics/101532-bp-group-in-the-dc-va-md-areawhos-in
and request to be added to the list so you can meet other successful investors in your area and learn from them as much as you can. Best of luck to you in your investing career! :)

Welcome @Stephanie Carter !! The suggestions given so far are all great!!
What has your investing career been like since you made your introduction post back in June?
Have you been able to listen to all of the other podcasts since then?
I hope all is going well! :)

@Joe Fairless , thanks for the kind words! Maybe we can chat a little bit more on PM about mailing lists. I'm not very familiar with how that goes. That's a good idea though!
@Account Closed, thanks for the suggestion! I think I'll go over there and have one of those guys take a look at it.

Welcome to BP @Albert Jr ! There is a TON of info on here so just formulate your questions and do a search for that in the search bar and I'm almost sure something will come up. What has really helped me out a lot is listening to the podcast as often as I can and going to REIAs to meet with other investors. There is one in Tyson's Corner in VA so that's not very far from you. It gets kinda "sales-y" at times but I've found that the networking that I did there was awesome. Best of luck to you!

@Corey Davis, yeah, I removed the social icons like he suggested but I'm still on the fence about the home image. I'm trying to get more critique from others about it as well.
@Zaid R., thanks for the kudos! That's a very good idea. I did some searching for investor sites but I definitely should do some more research as well. The issue was that there are so many to choose from, that if I didn't just dig my heels in and pick something, I would have been in analysis paralysis forever, so I just decided to make it and evolve it over time as needed.
The suggestions from everyone so has been very helpful! More suggestions would definitely be helpful as well. :)
