First a question: are you planning to pay $1M for 2 fourplexes?

If so, here is a thought: it seems a little expensive to me... If not, what are your other ideas?

We are multi-family real estate entrepreneurs and just joined BiggerPockets. We wholesale most of the properties we put under contract. We pride ourselves to find deals where there is still a lot of value play for the buyers.

In order to find the real estate you are looking for, please tell me your criteria for buying multi-family properties, such as geographic area, number of doors, max price per door after rehab, min cap rate, etc.

I totally agree with @Account Closed You need to have a plan. With a background in financial and real estate accounting, you probably know how to create a Business Plan. If you don't have to do it for anyone else, at least write it for yourself. Have a goal and steps to achieve it, with milestones and deadlines...

I don't want to sound judgmental, but you seem to leave a boss for another boss. Since you say that you don't like to report to someone, would it be possible to create your own business after hours and during the weekends, keeping your salary for now?

The path to freedom doesn't come for free, but it can be exhilarating. I don't want to discourage you either: leaving the corporate world has been the best thing I have done for myself and it could be your calling too.

If you want to bounce off ideas, keep in touch! Good luck!
