Hey Latasha
Welcome to BP. In addition to what Trexie Recommended, BP has books on rentals and flips. You will get better idea where you want to focus on after reading Beginner's guide to real estate investing. I also read The FLIP by Rick Villani, Clay, Jay.
If you go to https://www.sjreia.org you'll find meetups you can attend (membership required). I also would try meetup app, you can find house walk through and meets, usually without paying anything.
Best of luck to you!

Hey
So this tub on second floor been bothering me for about few months now. Been left by demo team, probably because it weights like a ton and may drop it down the stairs. Currently we trying to get an electric saw that can cut in half, and make it easier to remove (hopefully). I'm reaching out to see, if there is any other alternatives we can do that won't damage the walls (painted), or damage the floors downstairs (vinyl flooring). Any advice be helpful. Thanks!
Post: Getting PSEG to turn gas on from the curb

Hey everyone, wondering if anyone had inspections done by pseg for converting to gas heating. I did not know that, only after we tried to turn our new hvac system on, we notice it was turned off from the curb. Was told by pseg agent to fill form and wait for inspection, and in case i needed bigger gas pipes/ new meter i may have to pay; afterwards they'll turn gas on. Anyone know how long it usually takes for inspection and new pipes(hopefully not)? Just worried it'll delay our listing. And the expense if it comes to replacing the pipes. Any information be appreciated, especially if you dealt with pseg in south jersey area.

Hey guys,
For our current flip we getting a list of items to be done by "finisher" (handyman), was curious what usual tasks are given to finisher . Is there anything that all finisher should do?
Currently we have this on the list
Replacing interior door knobs
Install Kitchen Cabinets
Replace Trims /Patch Trims
Install drywall bathroom/tile shower surround
Replace Exterior doors
New Door bell
Fix outside wooden rail
Let me know what you think, if i should get specialist for any of the tasks above?

Qualify Them
- Licensed and Insured?
- Bonded?
- Experience
- Where/When was last project
- Number of Projects done so far?
- Any current projects they still working on
- Work with investors often?
- Deposits - how much they want upfront,
- References
- Test on small jobs
These are general tips i come across, not comprehensive, so please if there any tips or ideas you have please post.
