Ya I use @Carolyn Dietrich. She is awesome and has been my agent for my 4 LTR's for the past 3 years. She also does property management. Can't go wrong super investor friendly.

@Jenny Bui I lived in Southern CAlifornia for the past 15 years and self managed properties here in Pigeon Forge and also in St George UT. You have to find what you feel comfortable with. Because to be honest that is what it is all about. Everyone can give you advice that has worked for them but you need to find what works for you. You may not feel comfortable talking to contractors on the phone or messaging and paying cleaners online. I LOVE getting the airbnb questions so that I can connect with my guests. I love that they text me and Say Rhonda we had the best time. My Utah properties I knew the tenants and I used the method of making them responsible for the property as their job which worked really well. They stayed on all the deferred maintenance issues. Anyway.. .Hope this helps because at the end of the day we all want to make MONEY with the least amount of effort. I currently LOVE what I do and Love to share.

I own 4 LTR in Huntsville/Madison and I recommend Carolyn Dietrich with Dietrich and Associates. She has helped with finding great investments and managing them for me for years now. The area is always expanding.

@Account Closed - Should you rent out your current home and buy another property to live in!

I would consider looking into other rental options rather then just the normal LTR. I will PM you.

I recommend you give Carolyn Dietrich a call. She is my boots on the ground in that area. Actually email probably would be best. dietrichrentals.com. I'm not 100% familiar with the 35811.

Count me in. Knoxville, Sevierville, Maryville, Pigeon Forge. I'm everywhere all the time so I'm open to any of them. As long as the time  isn't 7AM, NOT an early bird!!

Hi Raymond. I know the market I'm in here in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg there is a huge online FACEBOOK following of STR and LTR groups. I would recommend searching your area for those and posting your listing there. You may be surprised.

35763 Hampton Cove area rents well but Michael is right that the area does have more A level larger homes so the average renter will not qualify. You will be looking for the Engineers or more affluent corporate renters. WE own 2 in 35802 and the rentals are great bringing in returns of 12-15%. WE also own 2 in the Madison area. The 35763 is Owen's cross roads and the home there are super cute and most are newer. The travel time is farther out from Huntsville but if you find a good deal it could definitely be a quality rental area. May be hit or miss depending on school districts. Check the high school ratings.
