I checked out your post about the KC Investors GroupMe Chat. I would be interested in joining the conversation. So far, I have only done 8-10 flips and a couple wholesales. However, I would love to get into the BRRRR strategy of buy and hold. Is there room in the GroupMe for someone like me?

Also, if you ever plan on coming to KC, feel free to stop by our 2nd Saturday Meetup for Northland Investors. It's just starting, but it seems like there are several people interested in getting to know other investors who work North of the River.

The main purpose of the group is to network with other Northland investors.  However, there will be plenty of general info and I will not be checking ID's at the door :-)

I'm sure many people who invest up North also invest in other parts of town as well.

@Matthew Lockwood and others, it might a little early for beer, but I have a Meetup scheduled for tomorrow morning at Panera on Englewood and North Oak in the Northland.  All are welcome.  It's going to be very casual and a way to meet other investors who might be interested in the area.  It's from 9am to 11am. 

There is a post in the "Networking Events" tab, as well as on Meetup.com.

If you are new or seasoned to Real Estate Investing, and are interested in investing in the Northland, this is THE group to join! It will be a casual, once a month meeting, on a Saturday, at a local coffee shop. There will be guest speakers from time to time, including agents, appraisers, inspectors, insurance agents, etc. to help us make better decisions when investing. Please feel free to bring any deals, wholesale or otherwise.
