Hey Shane, I think Ohio is a great option to consider. Columbus in particular has a lot of potential for appreciation gains. Multiple, billion dollar companies are investing substantial amounts of money into our area, such as Intel, Google, and Amazon. Which in turn will bring plenty of other investors and general business into the market.

Hey Shivam, I would first find a market that is suitable for you and showing signs of potential market growth. Then I would focus on growing relationships and building your core 4. The core 4 is essential to long-distance investing. It consists of a realtor, contractor, property manager, and a lender. Once you have this team in place, you should have the foundation to invest in any market confidently while not being there physically.

I think Columbus is a great option to consider. Plenty of multifamily real estate here and multiple, billion dollar companies are investing substantial amounts of money into our area, such as Intel, Google, and Amazon. Which in turn will bring plenty of other investors and general business into the market.

Hey Zach,

I would speak to a lender for these questions. I can send you a few referrals that my team uses in Ohio.

Hey Chad,

Welcome to BP!

If you have thought about investing out of state, I would pick a few markets and start networking within those selected markets. Picking what location to invest in will be a large decision that will shape your future in real estate!

I personally live and invest in Columbus, Ohio, after moving from Florida. I started investing here for the long-term potential, seeing how much money is getting pumped into the market. Multiple, billion dollar companies are investing substantial amounts of money into our area, such as Intel, Google, and Amazon. Which in turn will bring plenty of other investors and general business into the market.

Hey Stuart,

Welcome to BP! Have you looked farther into the mid-west? There are some markets here growing at rapid rates.

Have you looked into investing buy and hold out of state in rising markets? The most money is made through scaling and appreciation.

Hey Eric,

Welcome to BP! Have you ever looked into the Columbus Market? I believe if you want to invest OOS, there is some great opportunity here. Multiple, billion dollar companies are investing substantial amounts of money into our area, such as Intel, Google, and Amazon. Which in turn will bring plenty of other investors and general business into the market.

Just remember when investing from long distance and still being new, you should invest time into building a core 4. It consists of a realtor, contractor, property manager, and a lender.

I'd be happy to discuss more in depth.

Hey William,

Have you thought about investing long distance in the Ohio market? I am originally from Pensacola, FL and moved to Columbus, OH. I moved due to the city being the one of the fastest growing markets in the U.S. There is an abundance of opportunity here for reasons such as Intel, Google, and Amazon investing billions of dollars into the market and plenty of other business moving here for the rising economy.
