Hey Savannah,

I think Columbus, Ohio is a great option to consider. Multiple, billion dollar companies are investing into our area, such as Intel, Google, and Amazon, due to reasons such as lower costs on land, great tax abatement opportunities, and an attractive cost of living for employees.

As for OOS investing you need a boots on the ground team that consists of a realtor, contractor, property manager, and a lender. Once you have this team in place, you should have the foundation to invest in any market confidently while not being there physically.

Cincinnati is a great market in Ohio and has a low cost barrier but Columbus is seeing even more job growth and appreciation.

Hey AJ!

Pittsburgh is a market i'm not too familiar with, but I do know Ohio. I live and invest in Columbus and I believe it's a market definitely worth looking into. Multiple, billion dollar companies are investing into our area, such as Intel, Google, and Amazon, due to reasons such as lower costs on land, great tax abatement opportunities, and an attractive cost of living for employees.

Cleveland is great for that high cash-flow. Columbus is worth looking into as well if you want to hold real estate long term.

Hey Farah,

If you have thought about investing in the mid-west and think you're ready to start investing from out of state, I think Columbus is a great option to consider. Multiple billion dollar companies are investing into our area, such as Intel, Google, and Amazon, due to reasons such as lower costs on land, great tax abatement opportunities, and an attractive cost of living for employees.

Hey Jake,

House hacking is a great way to get entry into real estate and start scaling with little money down. Several partners of mine have house hacked and scaled swiftly with great success.

I would be happy to connect!

Hey Ertha,

Have you looked into other Ohio cities? I have been finding some great off-market deals in Columbus! It's a great city for some potential long term appreciation.

Hey Dylan,

I'm 19 and in real estate as well. Being busy with school and sports can definitely make it hard to make time for investing. I would suggest that you look into house hacking!

Quote from @Travis Biziorek:

Hey Miguel, I'm also in California but my rental portfolio is in Detroit (12-doors).

I'm a big advocate of that market and still believe it offers the best risk-adjusted returns today.

Lots of folks are still writing off Detroit but more and more are waking up to the opportunity there. The city is undergoing massive revitalization and investment.

@Travis Biziorek, hey I was wondering if you could help me as I haven't invested in homes before and live in AZ, but houses are just too expensive here to buy. I was wondering if you had someone that you used and trusted for buying the right properties to rent out in Detroit and doing any rehab. I know you manage the properties yourself, but was looking for property management as well. I was looking at Detroit and Ohio based off everyones comments.

Hey Jayson, I live and invest in Columbus, Ohio. I have been finding plenty of deals off-market.

I would be happy to connect!
