@Roopa Madihally is not that your realtor misinformed you, he/she was probably just trying to make you aware that markets do change from time to time. I have sold and managed many properties in AC to my investors and I can honestly tell you that in AC the good and not as good areas are street by street. Depending on the street that your property is in, it could be an area that is profitable but I also know properties right now in certain streets that keep dropping their prices because they are not selling. I am glad to see that you are doing your due diligence and certainly the BP community is a great place to get informed. Best of Luck to you.

House hacking is a great start. I would start building your boots on the ground crew. These are the people you will need to call on when something goes wrong at your property. For example: a good handyman, electrician, plumber etc. You will be amazed how often you will one. When I first started with my first investment, I knew no one in that town. So I had to hire who ever I got at a moments notice and that became expensive. But once I started asking around, getting referrals, I got to build my book of solid professionals that I could count on and that saved me a lot of money. Good Luck!

Hi BP Friends,
I am at a point where I have several rental properties and now I need a professional Real Estate Tax preparer to do my returns. Can you recommend someone you have used and been very happy with? It has to be someone who is very knowledgeable in investors with rental properties. I would appreciate both your recommendation and insights/advise. Thank you in advance!

Hi BPFriends,
I am seeking a recommendation on an architect that you have personally used for projects in Atlantic CIty NJ. Someone who is familiar with all the requirements on full rehab of Multi properties. Someone who is reasonably priced would help as well. Please let me know.
