Like @Jeremy Ferguson mentioned...try giving them a reason to to to the website.  Offer them a free Guide on ways to sell their house fast or something.

Any success?  Reviews or other thoughts?

I think Kevin is talking about what used to be called Google Places (I could be wrong though).  Google renamed it to "Google My Business"   Creating a Google my Business page is really good for SEO purposes and will put your business on Google Maps in your local area.  You do have to have an actual business address though.  They don't allow PO Boxes or Virtual Office addresses.

99 designs, while they may host websites now, is mainly for getting graphics, logos and other similar needs designed for you.  What you do is describe what you want, say how much you'll pay, and a any number of graphic designers will come up with what you want.  You then have the option to pick the one you like best (that designer will get paid then) or decline them all and get your money back.

It works really well for Logos.

That is the core of their business model I believe.  Either way, there are probably much better website hosts out there like bluehost, hostgator, etc..

I signed up yesterday with Investor Carrot and could really use some guidance as far as redirecting the website domain (www.northtexaswholesalehomes.com) from Freedomsoft to Investor Carrot. Can anyone give me any advice on how to do this? All I know is that TLD Registrar Solutions (who don't offer phone support) are the ones who host my site.

Do you know where your Domain name is hosted?

For example, my domain names are with Godaddy.  So when I bought my Investor Carrot site I just switched the DNS settings on godaddy to point to my Investor Carrot site.  Was up and running in less then 24 hours.

Does Freedomsoft "self host" the domains?

People google my name all the time after getting one of my yellow letters.  I can tell because the keyword "Scott Costello" goes up after I send a large batch of letters.

With out a doubt it's worth getting a website up.  It's equally as important to make it look professional.

I use a combination of Podio, Zapier and Globiflow to pull leads in from my website to my Podio App.  Then to move through my deal funnel.  Works great and makes it dead simple to share individual leads with partners or buyers.

To follow up with what @Todd Heitner said...I wouldn't want my blog posts reused on another sites blog either.  I want no part in duplicate content.  Even though I believe there is a way to let google know that your post was the original one inserting ref=Canonical in the html.

https://yoast.com/rel-canonical/

However, the point is that I worked hard on my posts and don't want someone else benefiting from that post.  That is unless I wanted to write a guest post for your blog.

What I would LIKE as a blog owner is for someone else to make a reference to one of my posts and add a link to it.

In the end there is no short cut for getting great content onto your site.  Create it yourself or hire someone to do it for you.  Be unique and you will succeed.

So outside of the multiple numbers and being able to call the caller back through the link, is there any other advantage to using CallRail over Google Voice?  GV is free so that trumps a lot of things :)

@Sean Andersen

I'm still a developer in my day job as well.  Definitely try and leverage your skill set by using it to help out other investors in your area.  It's a great way to build relationships and get ahead in this business.

Best of luck!
