Post: Can I tent a house to kill termite and not fix the repairs?

@Dan Marl I don’t think a tent will kill them as they are in the wood. What I did for a house was to get the baits and place them in the ground around the perimeter of the house. It attracts them to it and they die. Replace the baits as they are eaten. I buy the whole treatment system from Home Depot. Also, get any soul off of the foundation. This is where they enter.

What is the typical distance you’ll go to do a flip? The one I’m finishing has been an hour drive one way. Fuel prices are eating me alive.

@E.S. Burrell I don't have the kitchen countertops and sink installed yet. Other than that, it's almost ready. Honestly, I'd rather sell it than rent it. If I rented it and someone damaged it, I'd lose my mind!

@Bud Gaffney I'm not in the hole. I have nice equity in it. I'm short about $10K and it's done.

@Steve Vaughan I bought curtains & rods on clearance for $135. One window in the front is over sized & requires a special order blind & it's expensive.

@Jon Kelly I am a few days behind on the payment so I'd like to get it sold sooner than later.

@Larisa Dalekorey Payments are $3300 (seller finance 18 mo), worth $190K. It would reduce my asking price a good bit to put butcher block counters instead of a solid surface. I'll list it for around $230K.

I may think about curtains! Thank you!
